Background: Ged was born on the yautja planet like most other yautjas, but he was born in a whole different world. His parents are Pares (father) and Tipus (Mother). Pares is the chief of the Sülh clan. They're a different kind of yautja. They are nongame hunters. They only hunt for food and supplies. They refuse to use the technology that the other yautja clans have acquired. They prefer to keep the traditional ways of the past. Thus they maintain contact only with the other clans like themselves. They are mainly farmers. Since the males don't travel to different planets to hunt, the clan is more community oriented, rather then a matriarch. Instead of the hunting gear that the other yautja wear, the males usually were robes made of cotton and the females more or less the same. On festive occasions they will wear clothes made out of a silk-like material. The females are also smaller then usual since they never had to fight for dominance over their territories. They mainly tend the fields and do the cleaning and cooking. The males work the fields as well, but will also hunt on occasion (strictly for food or clothing). They believe in one god that created everything (plants, animals, them) more or less like the common Earth God. Thus they believe that everything is equal and should not be subject to anything that they would not put on themselves. This is also one of the main reasons why they do not game hunt like other yautja. Still when Ged tells his father that he would like to be a hunter like the other yautja his father, being the kind and understanding father that he is, allows his sun to join the other yautja clan. At first the hunting yautja are taken aback by Ged and are reluctant to allow him into their party. After proving his worth by killing a xenomorph, he is granted a permanent spot in the hunting party. He refuses to use the technology that the others use, because he still believes that all are equal. He decides that it would be unfair to use advantages over his prey, so he hunts with merely a spear and his bare hands (no cloaking device either). The only bit of technology that he uses is the mask. He quickly rises in the ranks and finally becomes an Elite Predator. Finally we find him on Earth in the slaughterhouse with Taylor, where our story begins.
